Regional Field Account Manager

Location: Eindhoven Area
Salary range: €3.500 - €4.500,- excl. 8% holiday allowance

Our client is a lighting wholesaler and manufacturer of innovative LED lighting, based in Eindhoven. A young, dynamic and ambitious company with a passion for professional lighting. As Regional Field Account Manager you are the face of our organization in the region. With a strong organization from our headquarters in Eindhoven, you are responsible for revenue retention and growth.

Within the sales plan, you can achieve regional goals and become preferred supplier. You build strong relationships and are above all a reliable advisor who likes to help with issues around LED Lighting, lighting control, emergency lighting. Both in short-term projects and long-term projects involving consultants, architects and clients you know how to represent the organization professionally.

 

This is You

  • Are a seasoned sales professional within the lighting market and have a large network within the installation market;

  • Know the construction chain and over the years have also built up a large network with consultants, construction companies, architects and clients;

  • Have a customer-oriented, flexible and helpful attitude;

  • Are used to having sales responsibility and are accountable, "don't bullshit but clean up";

  • Are accurate and have an eye for detail;

  • Are an experienced dealmaker and have a proven track record in large and complex projects;

  • Have a high degree of stress resistance and are solution oriented;

  • Have preferably gained experience in a similar position with a lighting manufacturer, project lighting company or wholesaler.

Your background

  • Have relevant work experience with professional LED lighting, lighting control and/or emergency lighting;

  • Have preferably gained experience in a service-oriented environment;

  • Good understanding of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;

  • Preferably have a relevant MBO, HBO or WO degree, preferably in the direction of electrical engineering, sales, account management or commercial economics;

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Live within the working area of Noord Brabant. 

 

What will you do?

  • Will manage regional clients and be responsible for revenue retention and growth; 

  • Know how to keep a good balance between ''farming'' and ''hunting''; In addition to client management (80%), acquisition (20%) is also part of the role;

  • Will visit installers, consultants and clients in the utility, industrial and residential sectors for an average of 3-4 days;

  • Will give product demonstrations and training to the DMU and fitters and actively engage in knowledge transfer;

  • Make your reports and visit reports pragmatic and concise, investing enough time in new appointments and maintenance;

  • Move the administrative burden as much as possible to the office staff.

  • Proactively inform existing customers and prospects about new developments, techniques, products and services;

  • Together with the internal organization you help installers in the sales process towards clients and supervise projects; 

  • Coordinate large projects and ensure that they are scored;

  • Are a ''trusted advisor'' and thus create a favor factor for the organization.

  • A fixed-term employment contract with the intention of permanent employment;

  • On target earnings (OTE) 80-100K, depending on experience, network and skills;
