Junior Product Manager

Location: Eindhoven Area
Salary range: € 3.000 - € 4.000,- excl. 8% holiday allowance

Our client is a lighting wholesaler and manufacturer of innovative LED Lighting, located in light city Eindhoven. A young, dynamic and ambitious company with a passion for professional lighting. Our target group consists of (electrical) installers / (sub) contractors and (lighting) consultants. We provide our target group with professional lighting.

This is you

As a Junior Product Manager, you are responsible for the entire product lifecycle of their LED products within your segment, from concept development to launch and optimization. You will work closely with different departments such as sales, marketing, R&D, purchasing and production to optimally market our products.

• Develop and implement the product strategy for your segment;

• Analyze market opportunities and customer needs to define and develop new products;

• Supervise product development projects in cooperation with management and the purchasing department;

• Monitoring trends and innovations within the lighting and LED sector;

• Optimize existing products based on market insights and customer feedback;

• Collaborate with marketing team to develop strong product positioning and sales strategies;

• Provide product training for colleagues and customers;

• Direct pricing strategies, market introductions and product life cycle management.

Your background

• Minimum of a bachelors degree, preferably in industrial design, commercial economics, (technical) business administration;

• Minimum 1 year experience in product, category, brand and/or channel marketing, preferably in the lighting industry or a related sector. May also be gained through internships;

• Affinity with LED technology and energy efficient solutions;

• Excellent communication and analytical skills;

• Proactive, results-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

• Experience with project management and knowledge of product development processes;

• Good grasp of the Dutch and English languages.
