This is you

As a Field Service Engineer, after an extensive training period, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, malfunction and repair work on our touchscreen screens.

As a Service Mechanic, together with a colleague you will be responsible for performing repairs on touchscreens on location at our customers. You will also be involved in repairing and refurbishing touchscreens in our workshop. This involves both software and hardware related problems. This position requires a combination of technical skills, customer focus and problem solving skills.

• Perform installations, repairs and maintenance work on touchscreens at customer sites.

• Diagnose technical problems and resolve them efficiently.

• Exchange defective screens with new or repaired screens.

• Repair and refurbish touchscreens in the workshop.

• Accurately documenting work performed and customer communication.

• Collaborate with Service team and Product owners to resolve complex issues.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Your background

• At least a technical education at MBO level, preferably in electronics, computer science or similar field.

• Demonstrated experience in repairing and maintaining electronic equipment, preferably touchscreens or similar devices or willingness to learn to do so.

• Good knowledge of electronics, software and hardware.

• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and preferably English, and customer orientation.

• In possession of a driving license B.

• Team player with a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic.
